Highlights
- Research is not the practice of a few researchers working with a few reviewers for months or years before they publish a ‘final product’ of their work – it’s a world where science is shared immediately, corrected and improved by other scientists in the public eye.
- But peer review is a continuous process, not different from the way science is created more generally, where research builds on previous work, strengthening or critiquing ideas and theories.
